Launching The Notebook

As it’s a leap year, I thought I’d launch (leap frog into?) a new blog concept for Candi Creations.

Welcome to The Notebook: an online literary, design, lifestyle and business journal. I decided to create this collection because I spend a lot of my time as a copywriter researching, planning and creating secret Pinterest boards to ensure I’m using the right words for every story. It’s a shame to think that many of these little gems are left tucked away in physical notebooks (as much as I adore pen, paper and stationery sets – but, you know what I mean…) when they could be appreciated by fellow writers and readers.

This idea became a reality when my friends at Studio 88 came up with a beautiful design and Global ICT then took this and created the wonderful website you can see today. You can read all about The Notebook’s brand identity development here and here.

The Notebook is segmented by creative inspirations and commercial discoveries and projects (which also include case studies from the heart of my copywriting studio). These categories, of course, intertwine and I believe you need a healthy mix of both to be successful in most industries, but I think they work for the time being.
